Mission is to provide a world-class education to every student through an inquiry and investigation school model that will prepare students to meet the challenges of a global 21st century.
 
Vision is to create a center for higher learning in Southeast Los Angeles where students learn to exceed expectations, to be self-aware and aware of others, to be responsible, inquisitive, prepared, passionate, inspired, engaged, independent, and love to have fun.

We take great pride of being one of the few schools in the southeast Los Angeles area to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework as a continuum. Congratulations to the Prepa Tec LA staff for successfully participating in and completing LA's 5K race on March 15, 2025! The LA 5K, organized by The McCourt Foundation, is a significant community event that brings together runners of all levels to promote health, wellness, and charitable causes. Well done, Go Lions!
